Indies Community Awards 2023

We recently attended the Bishop's Stortford Independent Indie Awards as proud sponsors of the Unsung Hero category which looks to recognise a selfless individual who helps make life better for others behind the scenes. This years' Unsung Hero was Ruth Armistead, pictured below being presented her award by RecruitAbility director Wendy Barriball. For almost two years, Ruth has been organising English classes for Ukrainian refugees, adults and children, in Sawbridgeworth. It was an honour to present Ruth with this well-deserved award.
