Are you interested in sustainability, environmental compliance and helping businesses navigate complex regulations?
We are looking for a Sustainability Consultant to work closely with a portfolio of organisations, supporting them with environmental compliance and helping them understand and meet their legal responsibilities. This is a varied, client-facing role combining relationship management, regulatory guidance and data analysis.
You will work with businesses across a range of industries, helping them interpret environmental regulations, improve processes and ensure accurate reporting.
The role
In this role you will:
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as their main point of contact for sustainability and compliance support
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and regular communication
- Support organisations in understanding and meeting environmental compliance requirements
- Assist clients with data collection processes and reporting methodologies to ensure regulatory compliance
- Support environmental audits and regulatory reviews where required
- Resolve technical queries relating to environmental legislation and reporting obligations
- Share regulatory knowledge with colleagues and contribute to internal training
What we're looking for
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- At least two years' experience in a similar consulting, sustainability, compliance or account management role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Excellent relationship-building and client management skills
- Good analytical, numeracy and organisational ability
- Experience working with data and reporting systems
- A proactive, self-motivated approach
- An interest in sustainability and environmental legislation
- Full UK driving licence
