General Sheet Metal Worker

£13 to £17 per hour, + negotiable depending on experience

Our client is a well established sheet metal manufacturer, working to produce high quality items for both small specialist orders, and for larger projects. They work within the aerospace and defence sectors and are growing the team.
The role of General Sheet Metal Worker:
- Working from technical drawings to produce high quality work
- Checking and signing off quality of the work
- Working to small tolerances
- Programme CNC machinery such as laser or brake press (training given)
To be successful in the role of General Sheet Metal Worker role
- Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
- HOWEVER - full training will be given to the right person
- Ideally a background in sheet metal or manufacturing
- Computer literate with a hands on approach
The Salary and package for the General Sheet Metal Worker role
- Basic salary of £13 to £16 + per hour.
- This is negotiable and will be based on your current rate and experience
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
- Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a 1 pm Friday finish
- Overtime available
- Weekly pay
