Job Title: Senior Legal Secretary
Salary: Up to £25,000 pa
Location: Saffron Walden
My client is looking for an experienced commercial property legal secretary to join their busy team.
The role will include, amongst other duties, day to day supervision of the secretarial/administration team and is predominately based in one location.
The role of Senior Legal Secretary
This role will require the successful candidate to provide full administrative support and to act as workflow manager for their team’s support services including delegating and supervising the completion of document production, file management and copying/scanning work.
You will be expected to take an active interest in and obtain a thorough understanding of all aspects of client requirements. This might be via many different tasks, for example, sending initial client letters, making follow up appointments for and making calls to clients, attending initial meetings with the solicitor and/or monitoring or acting on client e-mails and post in solicitor’s absence.
Other duties will include:-
Support with marketing activities
Assist with hosting events/meetings as required
Producing mail shots
Answering telephone calls
Assisting with interviews as needed

Methodical, accurate and consistent even when under workload and/or time pressures
Ability to supervise and direct available staff resource
Computer, web literate and competent ICT skills
Experience using Microsoft office
