Job Title: Sales Manager – Air Quality

Location:  Nr Stansted, Essex

Salary: £42,000 OTE

Term:  Permanent

They have an exciting Sales opportunity for a proactive and experienced sales person to develop their customer base both in the UK and worldwide.

Working closely with the MD and Technical Director, you will be responsible for developing business, growing their market share and building new customer trading relationships.

Key Duties for the Sales Manager role:

  • Work closely with the Technical team to provide cost effective and profitable solutions
  • Understanding the range of equipment and solutions they provide
  • Work closely with the MD to achieve sales targets, developing new and existing accounts
  • Manage the customer database providing sales plans and pipelines
  • Occasional travel to visit customers, sites, exhibitions and conferences

Key Skills for the Sales Manager role:

  • Proactive ability to develop and maintain a project pipeline within the public & private sectors
  • Excellent communication and networking skills at all levels
  • Attention to detail to complete successful quotations and tender documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Technical ability to develop a strong understanding of air quality equipment and processes

To be considered for the role of Sales Manager

Experience 

  • Ideally you will have experience in working/selling within the Air Quality Industry or similar
  • Experienced at completing successful tender documentation
  • Experience in providing detailed technical quotations and estimates
  • A good understanding of financial management
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Knowledge of exporting and working with overseas customers an advantage but not essential

The Package for the Sales Manager

Salary: £42,000 OTE

Term:  Full Time, Permanent

Location:  Office based
