Term:                         Permanent - Part time - 22.5 hours a week initially 

 

RecruitAbility have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join their well established and successful client based near Hoddesdon.  This role is ideal for someone looking to put all their administrative skills in to practice.  Experience with HR admin, finance, office management and upgrading and creating new systems to improve efficiency within the company is essential.

The role of Office Manager

GENERAL OFFICE MANAGEMENT

  • Occasional assistant to Directors or other senior staff
  • Organising team meetings/social events
  • Managing/software licenses for machines and upgrades
  • Ordering office equipment and stationary ordering
  • Desk top assessments in the office and from home
  • Be part of the phone answering group, main telephonist

 

HR

  • Ensure HR procedures are in place and are being carried out
  • Keep track of annual leave, sick leave, maternity/paternity etc
  • Keep personal details up to date to ensure we are compliant with the company’s policies
  • New starter inductions (when in the office)

 

LIAISON AND TRACKING ADMINISTRATION

  • Track and organise insurances for company PL PI and van
  • Company vehicle MOT, servicing, insurance
  • Liaising with Health and Safety consultant
  • Organising and checks such as PAT testing if necessary
  • Managing phones systems and mobile phones liaison with engineer

 

FINANCE

  • Keep records of accounts, assist accounts team with monthly invoicing
  • Take on some of the office accounts role to assist which may also include the administration side of payroll
  • Day to day banking, internet banking, cheques posting

 

To be considered for the role of Office Manager

  • Experience of running an efficient office
  • To be conversant with Windows office software including Excel and Word
  • Computer and digital literacy
  • Knowledge and use of software that can be utilised to improve the company efficiency
  • Excellent and demonstrable organisational skills
  • Highly discreet
  • High attention to detail and compliance
  • Ability to liaise well with all team members and suppliers
  • Self-motivated and driven to run an efficient and pleasant office
  • Inquisitive mind to seek out and develop new ideas and platforms
  • "Can do” attitude

 

The package for the role of Office Manager

Basic salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 pa pro rata depending upon experience

26 days holiday plus bank holidays

Office Hours – Monday – Friday, 9.00 am – 5.00 pm (Although the role will be part time initially - 22.5 hours a week over 5 days)

Free parking

Non-contributory pension of 5%

Yearly salary review

Annual Christmas bonus
