My client is looking for an experienced Content Writer to write compelling copy for their website, social media channels, emails, newsletters, product marketing collateral and inbound marketing content.


Working closely with the dynamic and collaborative marketing team, you will be working with offices globally and will be responsible for developing and optimizing corporate and thought leadership based content.
Key Responsibilities for the position of Content Writer:


  • Research industry related topics
  • Prepare well-structured drafts utilizing the company’s brand voice
  • Work with internal SMEs to create content that moves the brand forward
  • Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise the company and its products
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (ie comments and shares)
  • Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
  • Dive into new product releases and synthesize updates and descriptions in a clear and compelling way
  • Ability to create and meet deadlines
  • Partner with internal team members and external vendors to create “on brand” design to make copy come alive
  • Manage monthly newsletters, both copy and formatting
  • Measure web traffic to content (eg conversion and bounce rates) using Google Analytics
  • Update copy on their websites as needed
  • Occasionally work with external partners on thought leadership initiatives
  • Understand and write in alignment with the marketing team’s overall objectives and goals
  • Create and report on content plans/calendar, setting KPIs and delivering success

Skills and Experience required for the Content Writer role:


Ideally 2-3 years’ experience as a copywriter/content writer

1-2 years’ experience with social media management

BA/BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or another related field

Possess a portfolio of published pieces

Experience of working in a B2B environment

HTML knowledge would be highly desirable

Experience with influencer marketing

Excellent project management skills

Ability to build rapport

Experience of carrying out research using multiple sources

Excellent writing and editing skills

Expert in MS Office products

Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (eg Wordpress)

Some SEO knowledge or experience would be desirable but training will be provided if necessary

Understanding of how copy and design work together

Some Google Analytics knowledge and experience would be ideal

Ability to write in both UK and US English

Experience of content management systems

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum dependent upon experience
