This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation but based locally without the London commute!  My client are the UK’s leading provider in their specialist field and they and are looking to continue their growth by recruiting a customer relationship focussed Inside Sales Consultant to join their successful and friendly team.

The role of Inside Sales Consultant:

In this predominantly office based role, you will be working as a team and will be responsible for maximising sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s products.

Full training will be provided by the company on their products and services.

General duties will include:

  • Promoting selling and securing orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship based approach (no cold calling!)
  • Sending samples to clients and booking appointments for demonstrations
  • Demonstrating products and services to existing/potential customers and assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory which is historically a very successful patch
  • Making telephone calls and occasional in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers where required
  • Developing clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and perspective  customers
  • Co-ordinating the sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups
  • Analysing the territory and market potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organisation
  • Meeting realistic revenue targets

 

To be considered for the role of Inside Sales Consultant:

  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a proven track record in sales
  • Self- motivated
  • Tenacious
  • Previous experience of growing a territory
  • Ideally experience of selling a product but not essential
  • Any recruitment or travel sales would be of interest as these are backgrounds that other team members have come from and have excelled once joining this company
  • Experience of working to and hitting targets
  • Able to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • It is imperative that you are a team player

The package for the role of  Inside Sales Consultant:

The basic salary:  £24,000 + Commission of up to 200% of basic salary + extensive benefits program:
