My client is an international business with clients all around the globe and they are currently looking for an experienced Export Administrator to join their well-established, warm and friendly  team. 

The role of Export & Office Administrator:

  • Responsible for the export of sold goods, including creating and processing of export paperwork, packing lists, certificates of origin.
  • Preparation, reconciliation and submission of Intrastrat/HMRC returns
  • Maintaining regular contact with export shippers and logistics companies to confirm correct documentation, obtain competitive shipping pricing and arrange collections/deliveries
  • Processing small item orders
  • Liaising with project managers and warehouse staff to ensure deliveries are correct and made on time
  • Chasing project managers and pushing back when necessary
  • General office duties including stationery orders, HR administration, fleet management, staff business travel etc
  • Assisting the FD to prepare project summary information reports
  • Liaising with offices globally
  • Occasional travel to the company’s other offices in Essex and London will be required

To be considered for the role of Export & Office Administrator:

  • Previous experience of exporting on a global scale is essential
  • Previous experience of reconciling HMRC tariffs is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel is essential - Intermediary and above
  • Confident and assertive personality
  • Any ISO experience would be high beneficial
  • Previous experience of working in a sales environment would be highly desirable
  • Flexible
  • Proactive personality
  • Accurate with an eye for detail 
  • Excellent admin and organisational skills
  • Any knowledge of Sage would be highly desirable

The package for the role of Export & Office Administrator

The basic salary:  £25,000 - £27,000 + Discretionary Bonus

23 days holiday

Hours – Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
