The role of Export Assistant

My client is a fast growing local company who is looking for an experienced Export Assistant to join their team.   You will report to the Export Manager who will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role. The ideal candidate would possess a minimum of one year of solid experience in a similar role and be confident and open to trying new ideas and initiatives.  

 

Main Duties of the Export Assistant

  • Issuing distribution instructions to shippers and shipping agents
  • Arranging deliveries from the warehouse to customer in the UK and Europe
  • Obtaining ETA for shipping lines
  • Liaising with warehouses regarding deliveries, issuing correct documentation and distribution labels.
  • Recording packing conditions in and out of warehouse
  • Monitoring customer services emails to acknowledge and confirm call off delivery contracts
  • Arrange transfer of goods between warehouses
  • Issuing Certificate of Analysis within word.
  • Monitoring and checking of stock on a weekly basis.
  • Liaising with the sales department on certain batches to be delivered.
  • Arranging repacking with warehouse on certain products before deliveries
  • Dealing with non-conformance with customers on quality or deliveries.

Training

Full training will be provided.

 

** It is essential that candidates have a full drivers licence and own car as there is no public transport**

 

The Package for the role of Export Assistant

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm (Monday – Thursday); 8:30 – 3:45 (Friday)

45 minutes for lunch

22 days + Bank Holidays

         

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
