Job Title: Executive Assistant/PA
Salary: Up to £30,000 pa

My client is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant/PA to provide proactive, methodical and well organised support to the Managing Director of this highly successful, fast-growing company based in Bishop’s Stortford.
The role of Executive Assistant/PA
To work closely with the Managing Director in all aspects of diary management, arranging meetings, booking annual appraisals and scheduling employee catch ups.
Being responsible for the organisation of events, including but not limited to, senior staff meetings, main board meetings, staff away weekends, Christmas party and conferences.
Arrange any offsite group events and meetings including the planning, travel, budgeting and logistics of these.
Attend the quarterly main board meeting and monthly Exec board meeting as a minute taker.
Ensuring appropriate notes are produced and distributed in an accurate summary. Inform those in attendance of the agreed next steps and produce agendas for future meetings.
Providing full administrative support, including filing, copying, posting and scanning documents, including those of a confidential nature.
Filter and manage new enquires sent to the Managing Director by email, post and phone, responding where appropriate.
Use good judgement to screen calls and escalate those of an urgent nature.
Produce and proof-read documents for both internal and external meetings.
Build good relationships with management teams, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
Produce and assist the Managing Director in producing presentations for both internal and external audiences.
Prepare and present reports on potentially complex issues, both verbally and in writing, clearly and concisely.
Undertake any other reasonable duties from time to time allocated to the role.
To be considered for the role of Executive Assistant/PA
Executive Assistant or PA experience is essential
Experience of diary management and good minute taking ability
Excellent confident and articulate communication skills, comfortable and effective communication with external contacts
Flexibility of working hours to meet business needs, travelling and working from other offices where necessary including London occasionally
Excellent organisation skills, particularly in diary and event management
Methodical and accurate attention to detail.
Ability to cope under pressureAbility to prioritise
Ability to work independently with a proactive approach
Demonstrate integrity, diplomacy, good ethical judgement and a positive attitude
Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Clean driving licence and use of own car as this post will involve out of office activity and travel
The package for the role of Executive Assistant/PA
Salary – £25,000 - £30,000 pa
