My client is one of the UK’s fasting growing online companies who are very well established and due to their ongoing success, they are looking for a Director of Studies to lead their committed and dynamic team.

The role of Director of Studies
This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified and higher grade teacher who is looking for a new challenge outside of the classroom. You will be working in a commercial environment whilst still remaining within the education sector where you can utlilise your skills and experience and also develop new skills on a different career path.
Reporting to the COO, you will be managing a team of 4 full time staff plus a larger team of freelancers and you will be responsible for all academic areas of the business including:
- Managing the Curriculum Team
- Overseeing training
- Demonstrating systems
- Staff training
- Observing online lessons
- Overseeing/Content writing
- Recruiting tutors
- Liaising with tutors
To be considered for the role of Director of Studies
- You must have completed a PGCE or equivalent
- Be educated to degree level
- Have c.10 years’ experience in secondary school education
- Excellent writing skills
- Confident writing content for a range of subjects
- Tech savvy
- Management skills and experience
- Experience of recruiting
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ambitious and dynamic
The package for the role of Director of Studies
The basic salary: £36,000 basic + Bonus c.£40K package
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Full Time
