An Administrator/Assistant is required by my charity client to ensure that they utilise their bank of volunteers effectively. 


The Role of Administrator/Assistant


  • To work closely with the Fundraising Managers to ensure suitable requests for volunteer attendance are fulfilled
  • Work closely with the Fundraising Manager to identify where volunteer input is required and provide volunteer support for key initiatives, events and campaigns throughout the year
  • Maintain regular communications with the volunteers to ensure events and activities are covered by the volunteers
  • Provide admin support to the Volunteer Manager to process volunteer applications
  • Ensure equipment and merchandise are prepared for community events
  • Attend volunteer inductions
  • Be the first point of contact for office based volunteers and co-ordinate their work



To be successful for the role of  Administrator/Assistant


Ideally, previous experience in an administration role

Possess a highly motivated, ‘can do’ attitude

Flexible and trustworthy

Excellent telephone oral, written and IT communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and team working skills

Confident public speaker

Highly organised and efficient in managing work load

Able to build strong long lasting relationships

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
