The Role of Admin & Marketing Assistant

Working in this fashion/beauty related business, this is a fun, friendly and enthusiastic team who are looking for an Admin and Marketing Assistant to work alongside the Managing Director at their Sawbridgeworth head office.

 

This varied and exciting role will involve assisting the MD in all elements of running the business from Marketing, Social Media, HR, H&S, Finance, PR, developing new products and journalism.

 

You will assist with events, product launches, writing for magazine columns, managing blogs, social media accounts especially Instagram and liaising with agents and PR companies.

 

You will be updating their website, updating their blog and creating instastories and using photos in the appropriate way using the right kind of language. You will also be doing the less glamourous jobs such as filing, sending emails and setting reminders. 

 

You will be expected to muck in and get your hands dirty – no-one in this business is precious  - there are no divas and everyone is totally down to earth so you must expect to make hot drinks, tidy up, run errands and do whatever is necessary to help the MD and make her life easier.

 

There will be regular trips to their premises in London to prepare for visits from celebrities, well connected individuals and representatives from fashion magazines and beauty companies.  There will also be the opportunity to travel with the MD to other countries and amazing destinations such as Las Vegas, Paris and New York.

 

You will also be responsible for some PA duties such as diary management and booking appointments and reminding the MDs about where they need to be and when.

 

The future prospects for this role are huge for the right individual.

  • Ideally a graduate with a creative degree or experience working in a creative environment
  • Any marketing experience is highly desirable
  • Social media skills including Instagram – ideally include your Instagram handle with your application
  • Commercially aware
  • Able to work on your own in the office at times
  • Helpful attitude
  • Enthusiastic with a can-do approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team player
  • First class computer skills including experience of working with Macs and MS Office
  • Any experience of Photoshop and Illustrator would be useful
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent level of English with a flair for writing
  • Excellent presentation skills

The Package for the Admin & Marketing Assistant

Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 per annum

Hours: 9.00am-5.00pm

Dress Code:  fashion conscious , cool and presentable
